Unlock the Power of Your Health Data: Earn While You Share!

Introduction

In this digital age, data has become a valuable commodity that shapes the way we live, work, and make decisions. From social media preferences to online shopping habits, our data is collected and analyzed to enhance user experiences and offer personalized services. However, one aspect of our lives that remains largely untapped in this data-driven landscape is our health data. Imagine having the ability to harness the power of your health information to not only improve your well-being but also earn rewards for sharing it responsibly. Welcome to the future of health data sharing!

The Potential of Health Data:

Our health data, comprising information about our physical activities, vital signs, medical history, and more, holds immense potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. When aggregated and anonymized, this data can offer valuable insights into disease patterns, treatment effectiveness, and preventive measures. It can aid medical researchers in their quest for breakthroughs and empower healthcare providers to deliver personalized care plans to patients. The potential benefits of harnessing health data are boundless, and it’s time for individuals to play an active role in this transformative process.

Security and Anonymity First:

One of the primary concerns when it comes to sharing health data is privacy and security. The fear of sensitive information falling into the wrong hands has often discouraged individuals from actively participating in health data initiatives. However, recent advancements in data encryption and blockchain technology have paved the way for secure and anonymous data sharing.

By leveraging these cutting-edge techniques, individuals can share their health data without revealing personal identifiers. Instead, the data is encrypted and aggregated with that of other participants, ensuring the highest level of anonymity. This way, you can be confident that your privacy is safeguarded while still contributing to the greater good.

Earn While You Share:

What if you could be rewarded for sharing your health data responsibly? Enter a groundbreaking concept that is gaining traction in the health data ecosystem – earning tokens or rewards for participating in health data programs. By allowing your health data to be utilized for research or other purposes, you can earn digital tokens or points that have real-world value.

These tokens can be redeemed for a variety of benefits, such as discounts on health insurance premiums, access to premium healthcare services, or even direct financial rewards. This incentivization model not only encourages individuals to actively participate but also empowers them to take charge of their health while gaining tangible benefits.

Empowering Personalized Health Care:

As you unlock the power of your health data, you also open doors to personalized healthcare like never before. With more comprehensive and diverse datasets at their disposal, healthcare providers can tailor treatments and interventions to suit individual needs. This shift from a one-size-fits-all approach to a personalized, data-driven healthcare model has the potential to significantly improve patient outcomes and overall well-being.

The Responsibility Lies with You:

While the idea of earning rewards for health data sharing is undoubtedly enticing, it comes with a sense of responsibility. It is crucial to partner with reputable organizations that prioritize data security and adhere to ethical data handling practices. Additionally, understanding the terms and conditions of data sharing agreements and giving explicit consent are essential steps in this journey.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the era of health data empowerment has arrived, presenting a unique opportunity for individuals to actively contribute to the betterment of healthcare while reaping the rewards. By securely and responsibly sharing your health data, you become an integral part of the broader movement towards personalized medicine, scientific advancements, and improved health outcomes. So, embrace this transformative concept, unlock the power of your health data, and let it pave the way to a healthier and more rewarding future!

Patientory launches app enabling you to earn money for your health data

Atlanta, Georgia — March 30, 2023 — Patientory Inc.,the creator of a blockchain-based, HIPAA-compliant, private medical data ecosystem, announced today that it has launched two solutions–Patientory Consumer Decentralized Application-designed to help patients more efficiently and securely store and earn money from their medical data and Neith Enterprise Dashboard in partnership with Prosper Healthtech, a community backed organization committed to equity in Birmingham offering a supportive network of organizations throughout the city, including UAB Hospital, PackHealth, and Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Today, 80% of health data is not readily accessible in order to provide quality care for patients and the remaining 20% are anonymously monetized by data brokers. Patientory is a consumer-facing mobile dApp putting patients in control of the data they create but previously a challenge to  control being confined to patient portals. Available on Android and iOS and equipped with tools to promote healthy lifestyles, the Patientory app aggregates medical information and easily integrates with popular mobile apps and wearables to showcase users’ vitals in a uniformed dashboard.

Working in conjunction with the Patientory dApp, Neith is an enterprise-focused Analytics portal that mines both shared consumer health data and the Patientory blockchain network de- identified health data which represents 190M Americans, compatible with open source technologies like ChaptGPT.

“Six in ten American adults, per the CDC, have a chronic illness, which means a large percentage of the population is in constant contact with disparate parts of our sprawling health system,” said Patientory Inc. Founder and CEO Chrissa McFarlane. “Even though patients want a better system, the problem is that hospitals and clinicians keep recording patient information in siloed medical data systems. Unfortunately, transmitting vital private data is a frustrating game of ‘telephone’ for these institutions and their patients.”

Patientory and Neith are both powered by cutting edge technology and built atop the PTOYMatrix, Patientory’s own private blockchain network which raised over $7M in a token launch and now represents 95% of electronic medical record data in the US. The PTOYMatrix ensures patient healthcare data is cryptographically protected and will remain stored in a secure and decentralized manner with storage access managed by the native cryptocurrency $PTOY traded on exchanges listed at www.ptoy.org. The platform recently joined The Sequoia Project, the organization awarded by the federal government to administer The Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement, also known as TEFCA, which outlines a common set of principles, terms, and conditions to support the development of a Common Agreement to enable nationwide exchange of electronic health information (EHI) across disparate health information networks (HINs).

Among other features, the Patientory app harmonizes medical records and wearable device health data to understand how a multitude of factors impact patient health in real time, find trends and curate precise recommendations for users. Its most used feature in Beta, the clinical trial tracker which attracted over 2,000 people to pre-screen allows users to match with clinical trials they are a fit for in proximate geography. The company already recruits for more than a dozen pharmaceutical and research organizations. A premium feature is the care plan that gamifies helping users make healthy choices on a day to day basis to earn rewards.

Neith Enterprise Dashboard includes data management tools, healthcare data and electronic medical records from over 10,000 hospitals, predictive analytics through machine learning algorithms, holistic care plan generation, and increased patient data interoperability.

“The Prosper Healthtech Accelerator builds off the strengths of an ecosystem that includes UAB, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Therapy Brands along with a burgeoning startup scene,” said Douglas Watson, Managing Director Prosper Healthtech. “This ecosystem will provide our diverse group of founders opportunities for the funding, mentoring, and networking necessary to grow and scale. With companies and founders like Chrissa and Patientory, we are excited to join them on their journey to create solutions that will improve health equity and bring about systematic changes to healthcare as a whole.”

Patientory previously raised an oversubscribed $1.5M pre-seed and grants for the launch of the dApp from notable investors including, BackStage Capital, Arlan Hamilton, Colorado Permanente Medical Group, RGA Ventures + Moda Health, Expert Dojo, GSK, Novartis, American Heart Association, with prestigious honors and awards being named Startup of the Year, World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer, Prixe Galien Finalists in Digital Health for 2 consecutive years and participants in government sponsored programs including NASA iTech Ignite the Night and MassChallenge/HHS Pandemic(X) Program.

Patientory 1.0 is available for download in the iOS and Google Play App Store. To inquire about Neith Enterprise Solution, visit https://patientory.com/join-us/.

The company is currently raising a seed round on Wefunder in partnership with the Wharton Impact Venture Associates (WIVA) at https://wefunder.com/patientory/

Healthy Heart, Happy Life: Celebrating American Heart Month with Heart-Healthy Tips

February is American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about heart health and the steps we can take to prevent heart disease. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the United States, but it is also one of the most preventable diseases. By making simple lifestyle changes and taking proactive steps to manage our heart health, we can reduce our risk of heart disease and live longer, healthier lives.

Here are some important steps we can take to keep our hearts healthy:

  1. Eat a heart-healthy diet: A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean protein, and healthy fats can help reduce your risk of heart disease. Avoid foods that are high in saturated and trans fats, sodium, and added sugars.
  1. Get regular exercise: Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity exercise per week. This can include activities such as brisk walking, cycling, swimming, or jogging.
  1. Manage your weight: Maintaining a healthy weight can help reduce your risk of heart disease. If you are overweight or obese, losing even a small amount of weight can make a big difference in your heart health.
  1. Quit smoking: Smoking is a major risk factor for heart disease. If you smoke, quitting is one of the best things you can do for your heart health.
  1. Manage your stress: Chronic stress can increase your risk of heart disease. Finding healthy ways to manage stress, such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing, can help keep your heart healthy.
  1. Get enough sleep: Lack of sleep can contribute to high blood pressure, a risk factor for heart disease. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night.
  1. Monitor your blood pressure and cholesterol levels: High blood pressure and high cholesterol are major risk factors for heart disease. Regular monitoring can help you identify and manage these conditions.
  1. Know your family history: Some heart conditions are hereditary. If you have a family history of heart disease, talk to your doctor about steps you can take to reduce your risk.

This is a great time to use the Patientory Rx Card and save money on your heart medications. Visit https://patientory.com/rx-savings for more details.

In addition to these steps, it’s important to schedule regular check-ups with your doctor to monitor your heart health. By taking a proactive approach to your heart health, you can reduce your risk of heart disease and enjoy a longer, healthier life.

In conclusion, American Heart Month serves as a reminder for all of us to prioritize our heart health. By making healthy lifestyle choices and taking proactive steps to manage our heart health, we can reduce our risk of heart disease and enjoy a long and healthy life.
